A fatal crash on Texas 62 near County Road 784 in Buna early Tuesday killed a 43-year-old man from Louisiana, according to the Texas DPS.
The collision happened when a pickup attempted an illegal pass, forcing a Dodge Ram off the road and into trees.
No other injuries were reported, and authorities continue investigating.
