The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) has announced alternating lane closures on northbound Interstate 35 in downtown San Antonio starting today and continuing through March 2026.
The closures — between I-10 and I-37 — are part of a $25.9 million safety repair project to fix bridge joints and improve roadway conditions.
Motorists should expect delays during peak hours and plan alternate routes when possible.
TxDOT says the work is necessary to enhance safety along this busy travel corridor and will continue in phases throughout the year.
